2010 Tennessee Mission Trip

Sunday, July 18
We arrived safely, unloaded the trailer, claimed our sleeping area, ate supper, settled in, and got a good nights sleep. Anxious to see what God has in store for us tomorrow.

Monday, July 20
The day started with rain followed by the relief of clouds, low humidity, and a cool refreshing breeze. Thank you Lord! The morning started slow because we had to assess the job site and prioritize our work. It was decided to work on 1) getting the well working and water to the house [they have not had water in 2 years], 2) patch the roof, and 3) paint the house. We picked up supplies, scraped the old paint off of the house, replaced the well pump, and got running water. Praise the Lord! Tomorrow we will hopefully have water running to the house and begin painting.
Tonights Bible Study was on John 15:1-17 followed by a "Minute To Win It Competition."
